HÆLEN Consulting ("HÆLEN," "we," "us") is a private accountability and life coaching practice operated by Lori Jasinski, based in Los Angeles, California, serving clients across the greater Los Angeles area including Malibu and Beverly Hills. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through haelen.io.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, specifically:

• Contact details you submit through our intake form or email (name, email address, phone number, general location).
• The content of any message, note, or inquiry you choose to send us.
• Basic technical information Cloudflare (our hosting provider) logs automatically for security purposes, such as IP address and browser type — we do not use this for advertising or tracking.

We intentionally do not ask for, and request that you not submit, medical history, diagnoses, treatment records, or other sensitive health information through this website. Any such details are discussed only in a private, direct conversation once an engagement begins.

3. How We Use Information

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation.
• To provide coaching services to active clients.
• To maintain the security and integrity of our website.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not run third-party ad-tracking or sell data to data brokers.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers who help us operate (such as our email and hosting providers), and only as needed to provide the service itself, or when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and client information only as long as necessary to provide services and meet reasonable record-keeping and legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time as described below.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you.
• Access and correct that information.
• Delete personal information we hold about you.
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — though as noted above, we do not sell or share your data in the first place.
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

7. Security

This site is served entirely over encrypted HTTPS. We apply data-minimization by design — the intake form is structured to avoid collecting sensitive health information in the first place — and access to any information you send us is limited to Lori and those directly supporting her practice.

For especially sensitive inquiries, you’re welcome to encrypt your message using our public PGP key before sending it — an optional extra layer on top of the encrypted email connection already used by default. Nothing about our normal process requires this; it’s simply available for anyone who wants it. Our public PGP key.

8. Not a Substitute for Medical or Emergency Care

HÆLEN Consulting provides life and accountability coaching. It is not therapy, psychiatric treatment, medical care, or a crisis service, and using this site does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

9. Children's Privacy

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
